Traveling Museum

The Traveling Museum curates thematic, education-based craft exhibits. High quality replicas of craft works are produced for each exhibition and displayed free of charge for all participants. The Travelling Museum team gives talks on each exhibition, both formally to groups and informally to individuals attending at public venues. These talks are adapted to be appropriate for various ages and abilities and are designed to give an insight into the artworks and to enable visitors to understand the historic significance of the craft, as well as the cultural ethos of the time period it represents.
Vision: The traveling museum through its exhibits, seeks to highlight the historical and narrative significance of craft of an era, tribe/community or geographic region to evoke better heritage and cultural understanding amidst people from varied age groups/ethnicities.
